YEC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") engages in the design, development, manufacture, and sale of IT-related products, as well as data processing services that apply those technologies. We recognize that the appropriate handling of the personal information of our customers and business partners is an important social responsibility. As the use of personal information becomes increasingly diverse in the era of AI and big data, the Company has established the following Personal Information Protection Policy. By managing acquired personal information appropriately and ensuring that all employees act with a clear understanding of its importance, we are committed to earning your continued trust.

   Establishment of a Personal Information Protection Management System

   With respect to the personal information handled in our business and the personal information of our employees, the Company establishes and operates a Personal Information Protection Management System that complies with the requirements of JIS Q 15001 (Personal Information Protection Management Systems — 個人情報保護マネジメントシステム), and works to protect personal information accordingly.

   Acquisition, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

   When acquiring and using personal information, the Company will use it only for legitimate purposes — such as fulfilling contractual obligations to customers, developing better products, and providing useful information — and will not handle such information beyond the scope necessary to achieve those purposes (use beyond the original purpose). Except where the consent of the individual has been obtained or where required by law, the Company will not provide acquired personal information to any third party.

   Compliance with Laws and Norms

   The Company complies with all laws, government-issued guidelines, and other applicable norms concerning the handling of personal information, including Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報の保護に関する法律).

   Appropriate Management of Personal Information

   To manage acquired personal information appropriately, the Company implements physical and technical safeguards, and works to prevent and correct any leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

   Response to Complaints and Inquiries

   When the Company receives a complaint or inquiry concerning the handling of personal information, we will promptly investigate the relevant facts and respond in good faith within a reasonable period. Please contact our designated inquiry window.

   Continuous Improvement of the Management System

   Taking into account changes in society and the operating environment, the Company periodically reviews its Personal Information Protection Management System and continuously improves its approach to personal information protection.
